This privacy policy applies to the Mazebound: Simple TD app for Android (the "App"), made by Spiley (the "Developer", "we"). It explains what data the App handles, why, and what choices you have.
In short: the App has no accounts and we run no servers, so we do not receive or store your personal data. Your game progress stays on your device. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google may process some data to show those ads. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first. Optional purchases are handled entirely by Google Play.
Your progress (saved islands, stars, intel, research, unlocked cosmetics and settings such as sound and music) is stored only on your device. We cannot see it. Android may include it in your device's own backup to your Google account if you have backups turned on; that backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings. Uninstalling the App deletes this data from the device.
The App is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Ads appear only between runs, or when you choose to watch one to revive your core or double your intel. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

This data is collected by Google directly and is not sent to us. Google may share it with its advertising partners. Google's use of this data is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Premium is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. The App only receives confirmation from Google Play of whether Premium is owned on your Google account, so it can be restored on a new device. Where the GDPR applies, personalised advertising and storing or accessing information on your device for ads are based on your consent. Fraud prevention and security, and processing needed to deliver a purchase you made, are based on legitimate interests and on performing the purchase. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in section 3; this does not affect processing that took place before.
Google may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Google uses legally recognised safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Game data stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Data processed by Google for advertising is kept according to Google's own retention policies. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, there is nothing for us to delete; we are happy to help with any request about Google's processing, and you can also manage it directly through your Google account and device settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us.
Data exchanged with Google's advertising and billing services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Contact us with any request.
We may update this policy, for example when the App changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If a change requires your consent, the App will ask for it.
