Privacy Policy – Exploding Booze

Effective date: 3 October 2026

This privacy policy explains how the Android app Exploding Booze (the "App") handles personal data. The App is a party game intended for adults (18+).

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for the App is Valentijn Keijser, publishing as Spiley, based in the Netherlands.
Contact: spileyapps@gmail.com

2. Data that stays on your device

Player names, player photos taken with the in-app camera, scores and your settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting a player, clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App removes them.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run our own servers. We never receive your name, e-mail address or any other directly identifying information through the App.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App shows ads provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). To serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and processes data such as:

Google acts as an independent controller for this data. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent through Google's consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform) before ads are loaded. You can choose whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, which still use some data for fraud prevention, frequency capping and measurement. In certain US states, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising in the same way.

Change or withdraw your choice at any time in the App under Settings → About → Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

If you buy Premium, the App stops requesting ads.

4. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

Premium is purchased through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your payment details. The App only receives confirmation from Google Play of whether your account owns Premium, and stores that on your device so it also works offline. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.

5. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

6. International transfers

Google may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

7. Retention

We do not store any of your data on our side. Data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App. Google retains advertising data according to its own policies. E-mails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because we hold no data about you ourselves, requests about advertising data are best handled through the Privacy choices option in the App and through Google. You can always contact us at spileyapps@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens; you may also contact the authority in your own country.

California and other US states: you have the right to know, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Use Privacy choices in the App or e-mail us.

9. Age restriction

The App contains alcohol-related content and is intended only for people aged 18 or older (or the legal drinking age in their country, if higher). We do not knowingly process data of minors. If you believe a minor uses the App, contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when the App changes. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version. Material changes will also be announced in the App's release notes.
